A study of the work of medical missionary Reverend Doctor Hugh Gordon Roberts (1885-1961) and his wife Catherine (Jones) in the Shillong area of India between 1913 and 1943. He supervised the building of the Dr. H. Gordon Hospital in Shillong in 1922, working with other members of the medical profession, including Dr Robert Arthur Hughes (1910-1996). 22 black-and-white photographs.
