Giraffe

Description

The artful poems in Bryony Littlefair’s Mslexia Pamphlet Prize-winning début observe women’s lives with a wry, ironic empathy that often features a feminist twist. There is the troubling allure of the ‘bad-girl’ school friend, a mother who hides her piano playing as if it is shameful as adultery, and an actual meeting with an older self.
