A bilingual volume tracing the story of David Roberts (1806-86), successful Liverpool wood merchant and millionaire who contributed financially to religious causes in the city, and his son John Roberts (1835-1894), Liberal MP for Flint borough, 1878-92. The text is based on a festival held in 2016 to celebrate their lives at the Welsh Centre and Presbyterian Chapel, Liverpool.
