David Vaughan Thomas

Description

David Vaughan Thomas was the most prominent and influential Welsh composer in the first decades of the 20th century, as he sought to move his country forward from the conservative tendencies of the composers and performers of the Victorian age. This volume by composer Eric Jones traces his life and work, and evaluates anew his musical compositions.
