A collection of essays by Mairwen Thorne. The characters and events are real as seen through the eyes of the author, but with a splash of occasional colour. The book has two parts: the first mentions journeys to Australia and mixing with the colourful natives of that land; the second traces the story of south Wales valleys funerals, with portions of black humour.
