This is the biography of leading Welsh character Dan Jenkins (1856-1946) who achieved a great deal for the newly emerging board schools of the late nineteenth century in terms of curriculum, use of Welsh language, St David’s Day celebrations as well as publicising many mid and west Wales activities.
