Darganfod: Castell Harlech

Description

A guidebook for Harlech castle. This structure was built on a concentric plan, and located on rock crag overlooking Cardigan Bay and framed by Snowdonia. The castle is considered to be an architectural masterpiece and has been perfectly adapted to the rocky landscape. The castle was part of a chain of fortifications used by King Edward I to affirm his conquest of 1282.
