We all remember the touching moment Tudur Hallam was chaired as The Bard of the Chair at The National Eisteddfod of Wrexham, 2025. This accomplishment touched the heart of our nation. Y Golau yn y Gadair includes his winning ‘awdl’, a traditional long poem written in strict metre, on the theme of ‘Dinas’ (The City). The poem is about coming to terms with a diagnosis of invasive cancer.
