In this lecture Geraint H. Jenkins discusses the trials and tribulations of Iolo Morganwg (1747-1826) in the period up to his 48th birthday, and attempts to answer two questions. Firstly, how and why did Iolo Morganwg become a republican? And, secondly, how did he express his fervent radicalism during his turbulent life in London between 1791 and 1795?
