The story of Lloyds fish-and-chip shop in Lampeter. The first fish-and-chip shops in Britain were set up by immigrants, in particular Italians, and indeed an Italian set up the first one in Lampeter. For the last sixty-five years, however, this successful enterprise has been in the hands of a local Welsh-speaking family, the Lloyds.
