Description
The first biography of Owain Myfyr, one of the foremost names in Welsh cultural history, and a man described by his friend Iolo Morganwg as ‘a man without his equal in the world’. He was born in Llanfihangel Glyn Myfyr, Denbighshire, in 1741; while still a young man he moved to London. There he became a thriving skinner, and one of the founders of the Gwyneddigion Society.
