Description

When the Romans take Dándírix, the Gaulish village bard, to Rome as a gift for Julius Caesar, Asterix and Obelix set off on a daring mission to rescue him. But Dándírix has been locked away in the Circus Maximus where an audience with the lions awaits him. Saving Dándírix from this terrible fate proves difficult for Asterix and Obelix – until they manage to find work which will get them into the arena… as gladiators!
